Established in 2019, Socamania is a vibrant and passionate Saint Lucian heritage band that proudly showcases the rich cultural tapestry of the Caribbean islands. Each year we attend Notting Hill Carnival, we bring the vibrant rhythm and spirit of the Caribbean to the heart of London.
Our Carnival Triumphs
We have always believed that the best way to celebrate Caribbean culture is by sharing it with the world. This belief has fueled our passion and pride as we’ve taken part in the iconic Notting Hill Carnival and Saint Lucia Carnival. Over the past 5 years, our commitment to authenticity and enthusiasm has gained us recognition and success.
Our journey began in 2019, we burst onto the scene and made history by clinching first place in our debut year, performing alongside the renowned Ucom band. This momentous achievement marked the beginning of our journey and mission to promote Caribbean culture in the heart of London.
Fast forward 2023, we continued our Carnival legacy by earning third place alongside the dynamic Hype Mas. This achievement highlights our continued dedication to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of the Caribbean islands with Carnival-goers from all walks of life.
In 2024, our momentum grew from strength to strength. Over 100 masqueraders joined us on the road as we teamed up with Chocolate Nation Mas. Together, we made a significant tribute to Caribbean culture, creating memories to last a lifetime.
As we look to the future, our mission remains the same: to proudly represent and promote Caribbean traditions through Carnival experiences and events.
